"One can't get away from being human. I realize this more with every passing day. Living as a human being, I need to express myself as best as possible and make connections with others. Painting helps me utilize this need. Creating them has become the voice of my passions and spiritual songs. Everything in this world is important and has meaning; the process of life is all around us.

I try to capture this in my paintings of rusted tools. What was once useful has now become Futile from aging and oxidization. A striking fact we face everyday as mortals. We are all individuals with souls and dreams. I desire to capture that with my paintings of people with my own impressions.

I don't try to be photo-realistic because none of us are perfect and that is what makes us beautiful. "
